Earlier this year I have been approached by the brand Eighty Sixed, who are a small gaming merchandise store offering game related t-shirt and keychains. They offered to send me some of their products for my blog to review, so I took the opportunity to do a mini-interview with the vice-president Danny Shnorhokian.
It has been a couple of months since MyGeekBox released a new type of subscription box, My Geek Box Lite. If you don’t want to spend money on the regular My Geek Box, the Lite version is cheaper and offers 3-4 items. I ordered a 6 month subscription because at the time there was a sale and each box was only around $5. Since there were only 3 items in the December Lite box, this article is going to be a bit shorter. But no worries, keep on reading and learn how to enter my Valentine’s Day giveaway! Continue Reading
My name is Ian (aka EBoy87) and my good friend Dana has kindly allowed me to do a review of the August Zbox from Zavvi.
This is my first ever monthly subscription for a product like this. I have thought about getting something like this in the past but unfortunately I’ve never really been able to afford one. However I was given a code for a special offer for the Zbox so I decided to take full advantage of it.
And I’m glad I did! Continue Reading
If you’ve been on my blog before, you know that I have some pretty awesome friends. Last Christmas I got spoiled with a Assassin’s Creed Connor wallet and art book, but I also got this great Altair style Assassin’s Creed messenger bag (official product). I know that from photos it’s really hard to visualize how much stuff you can put it and what all the materials are, so I’ll do my best to give you an honest and complete review. Continue Reading
As you may or may not know, I like Assassin’s Creed *and* I have the best friends ever. My friend E. gifted me the Assassin’s Creed: The Complete Visual History book for Christmas 2015 and I have to tell you, it’s completely stunning. I have never owned a concept art book of anything and I always assumed such things were only filled with pictures.
Oh, how wrong I was.
If you want to see what’s inside, come with me… Continue Reading
My good friend R., who is a long term Loot Crate subscriber, offered me to test one out for free. So I did and ordered the Loot Crate for February 2016. February’s theme was aptly named ‘dead’ and I will tell you why in a moment (I feel like the image above is descriptive enough though).
For those of you who are not familiar with Loot Crate, it’s basically a subscription service, where you can get geeky gaming gear and merchandise. You can pick among several of Loot Crates to subscribe to (for example the standard Loot Crate, Loot Crate Anime for anime merchandise, Loot Crate Pets with stuff for your dog, Loot Crate Gaming, etc.). Every month there’s a special theme but you don’t know what is in the box that will arrive to your doorstep until you open it. Continue Reading
