Actors & Video Game Voice Actors Who Stream On Twitch
With over 9 million of active streamers at the end of 2020, it shouldn’t be a surprise to find a few familiar faces on the platform. You can find actors, musicians, WWE stars and many others.
Today I’ll be looking at a few actors who are currently active on Twitch! Maybe you can find your favorite video game voice actor on Twitch!
Felicia Day
Felicia was born in Alabama, United States on June 28, 1979. She is an actor, writer and producer. She is well known for appearing in the TV series The Guild (as Codex) as well as Supernatural (as Charlie Bradbury). She has voiced characters in animated TV shows such as Adventure Time (as Betty), Stretch Armstrong & the Flex Fighters (as Erika) and Skylanders Academy (as Cynder).
Felicia has also voiced quite a few video game characters in games such as Fallout: New Vegas (Mary Beth), Dragon Age II (Tallis) and Guild Wars 2 (Zojja) among others.
Her partnered Twitch channel, feliciaday, currently has 198k followers. Felicia enjoys RPG, MMO and indie games and you can currently find her playing Among Us, Valheim, Rust, Cyberpunk 2077, Phasmophobia, Tabletop RPGs and a lot more.
Felicia usually streams every Monday and Wednesday in the afternoon, Friday and Sunday at night. Make sure to check out her schedule and also join her Discord server to keep track of any unscheduled livestreams.
Sam Witwer
Sam was born in Illinois, United States on October 20, 1977. One of his first bigger roles was Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica, followed by Davis Bloome (Doomsday) in the TV show Smallville, and Aidan Waite in Being Human. He has also appeared in Riverdale (Rupert Chipping), Supergirl (Ben Lockwood) and Once Upon a Time (Dr. Hyde).
He has voiced the Sith Lord Maul in various adaptations, most notably in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels among others.
Sam lent his voice to several video game characters:

On his partnered Twitch channel, samwitwer, you can find him playing games such as Hitman 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Days Gone, Thief saga and many more. His channel currently has 58.4k followers.
Sam is also an accomplished musician, so make sure to check out his band The Crashtones.
Liam McIntyre
Liam was born in Adelaide, Australia on February 8, 1982. He began his career in short films, eventually landing roles in popular Australian shows Neighbours and Rush.
Liam is most known for his role in Starz TV series Spartacus, when he took over the role from the late Andy Whitfield. He appeared in the remaining two seasons, Spartacus: Vengeance and Spartacus: War of the Damned from 2011 to 2013.
He is also known for his role of the Weather Wizard from the TV series The Flash and voiceovers in animated series like Star Wars: Resistance.
Liam is no stranger to video games. He has voiced JD Fenix in Gears of War 4 and Gears 5, and Taron Malicos from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and even Star Trek Online.
When time permits, Liam streams on Twitch on his channel MrSpartyPants with 3.8k followers. You can find him play games such as Fortnite, Among Us, Valheim, Fall Guys and classics like Turtles In Time and Doom. He is sometimes joined by Todd Lasance in some of the multiplayer games.
Liam has a series with Todd on Youtube called Get Good, which is a part of a channel Retro Replay. It’s a lot of fun, so make sure to give the entire channel a watch.
I met Liam in person at a Spartacus convention in Paris in October 2017. He’s very kind and humble and he even played a card game he created (Monster Lab, you can buy it in the Retro Replay Store) with his fans.
Todd Lasance
Todd was born in Newcastle, Australia on February 18, 1985. He has appeared in the Australian TV series Home and Away (as Aden), Anzac Girls (as Sydney Cook), The Vampire Diaries (as Julian), The Flash (as Edward Clariss) among others.
He brilliantly portrayed Julius Caesar in the Starz TV series Spartacus in 2013.
Todd’s Twitch channel, AchillesTJ, currenly has 1.4k followers. He likes to play games such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Battlefield V and more.

I met Todd at a Spartacus convention in May 2017 in the US. I didn’t get to talk to him as much as I would have liked but he was very gracious and also very funny when I asked him for a selfie.
Nicole Tompkins

Nicole was born in Texas, United States but moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her acting career. She played the leading role in movies like Darkness in Tenement 45 (as Joanna), The Amityville Terror (Hailey), Opening Night (Arden) and Antrum as Oralee.
Nicole starred in the TV series The Grey Matter Archives as Amber/Startide Rising and appeared as older Scarlett in the popular American Horror Story series.
Nicole has also appeared on stage in more than 20 musicals, including Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Les Miserables and Sound of Music to name a few.
Nicole has a few video game appearances under her belt. She portrayed Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil 3 remake and most recently voiced and mocapped Daniela Dimitrescu and Elena in Resident Evil: Village.
She also appeared in Guilty Gear: Strive as Jack’O Valentine/Aria and Middle Earth: Shadow of War as Idril of Gondor.
Nicole’s partnered Twitch channel currently has 22.9k followers. Most recently she has streamed live singning sessions with her co-stars from Resident Evil: Village, including Maggie Robertson, Bekka Prewitt, Jeff Schine, and also hosted a cast reunion. You can see her past streams on her Youtube channel as well.
David Hewlett
David was born in Surrey, England on April 18, 1968. He is best known for his role of Dr. Rodney McKay from Stargate: Atlantis and he appeared in a few episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Universe as well.
He appeared in TV series such as Traders (as Grant), Dark Matter (as Talbor) and many others. He appeared in the horror sci-fi classic Cube (1997, as Worth) as well as Rise of the Planet of the Apes (as Hunsiker). He wrote, directed and starred in a comedy A Dog’s Breakfast in 2007.
David has been running a local junior school tech club in hopes to get more kids interested in science, technology, engineering, math and arts. To reach a wider audience, he started streaming on Twitch.
David’s Twitch channel, techbanditry, currently has 8.2k followers. Definitely check his streams out for interesting chats about technology, gaming talk “GameBandits” is usually scheduled for Wednesdays.

Bryan was born in Utah, United States on March 17, 1987. He has appeared in short films, he portrayed Eli in the TV series Jane by Design, Vannevar in Vampire: The Masquerade: L.A. By Night, Dan in the apocalpytic movie The Remaining and Taylor in Dakota’s Summer.
However he is most known for his portrayal of the android Connor from the video game Detroit: Become Human. He provided his likeness, voice and motion capture (except stunts). He has also voiced several characters in Mafia 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 and most recently Cyberpunk 2077 (as Brendan + other characters).
Amelia was born in New York, United States on November 20, 1987. She appeared in TV shows such as True Blood (as Willa), Scream: The TV Series (as Piper), Quantum Break (as Amy), 90210 (as Laura) and smaller roles in Grey’s Anatomy, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds and others. Apart from being an actor, she is also a producer.
Amelia has voices several video game characters, Theo in Cyberpunk 2077, Traci in Detroit: Become Human and Amy in the Quantum Break video game.
Bryan and Amelia got married in June 2018.
Bryan and Amelia have a partnered Twitch channel, dechartgames, which currently has around 423k followers. You can find them play a variety of games, most recently Tell Me Why, Assassin’s Creed II, Cyberpunk 2077 and also some Jackbox Party Games with their community.
Jay Mewes
Jay was born in New Jersey, United States on June 12, 1974. Actor, producer, director and writer, Jay is best known for his role of Jay alongside Kevin Smith’s Silent Bob in the Clerks movies (and the TV series). However, he has also appeared in TV series such as Degrassi: The Next Generation (as Jay), Vigilante Diaries (as Michael) and he appeared in roles in The Flash and Supergirl among others.
He also appeared in the movies like Dogma (as Jay) and Devil’s Tower (as Sid).
Jay has voiced Mortdecai McCoy in Fallout 76’s Wastelanders DLC. His partnered Twitch channel, jaymewes, currently has around 85.7k followers. Jay plays a variety of games, you can catch him playing Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Rust and many more.
