Rocket League is one of my favorite games of all time. Developed and published by Psyonix for Microsoft Windows and Playstation 4 in July 2015 (Xbox, OS X and Linux in 2016), it’s become a widely popular and award-winning multiplayer game and even entered the professional e-sports. For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s basically soccer with rocket boosted cars, plus you can sparkle your car up with various funny antennas and toppers.
Although this game has been around for almost 2 years, the officially licensed Rocket League shirts and hoodies have come out only very recently over at J!NX. And if you haven’t seen them yet, click below to find out more! Continue Reading
Resident Evil (in Japan known as Biohazard) is one of the best known horror survival video games in the world. First released in 1996 by Capcom on Playstation, the franchise has expanded over the last 20 years also into comics, live-action movies, novels and many more. Possibly the best widely recognized “logo” from the game is that of the Umbrella Corporation, an international fictional pharmaceutical company.
Resident Evil is a very large franchise so it’s no wonder a lot of merchandise has been released during the years. The newest game, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, is due to release on January 24th, 2017 worldwide (January 26th in Japan) for Xbox One, PC and Playstation 4, therefore to celebrate that I decided to bring you some great Resident Evil merchandise. Since then its popularity gained traction and currently there are 5 FNAF games, 1 spin off, a novel, and a movie is in the works. Merchandise and collectibles have started to come out as well and today I’ll introduce you to 4 FNAF action figures. Continue Reading
If you are a geek and have been around the internet for a while, I think that you might be familiar with the term ‘cosplay’. For those of you who are lost, cosplay means ‘costume play’, where people portray their favorite characters from movies, games, tv shows, comics, etc. Cosplayers usually don’t just walk around every day like that but instead choose conventions of all kinds to show their love and geekery. If you’ve been a frequent or semi-frequent visitor to my little blog, you probably noticed that I haven’t updated in a couple of weeks. The reason is simple. I have been working on an exciting new feature for the website, coding away in my free time until the late hours of the night. 🙂 As the title of this post reveals, I have added a new section for the website called Gaming Gift Ideas. Continue Reading
There’s times when you can’t afford any new gaming merchandise and that’s okay! If you’re a bit crafty, with a few inexpensive supplies you can make some great things! In this post I’ll show you how to make Yarny from the game Unravel. Yarny is a cute little figure made out of single piece or yarn which unravels as he travels through the environment. If you’ve been on my blog before, you know that I have some pretty awesome friends. Last Christmas I got spoiled with a Assassin’s Creed Connor wallet and art book, but I also got this great Altair style Assassin’s Creed messenger bag (official product). I know that from photos it’s really hard to visualize how much stuff you can put it and what all the materials are, so I’ll do my best to give you an honest and complete review. Continue Reading
I’ve been browsing the internet for some new Assassin’s Creed hoodies and found quite a few that I liked. I found 6 official hoodies from the most recent games *and* I found out that the store offers free worldwide shipping. Continue Reading
As you may have seen in my previous blog posts, I completely adore Assassin’s Creed video games and most of all the third game in the series. Not long ago I have bought this Assassin’s Creed Connor action figure, so I decided to write up a little review. Continue Reading
Oh, yes, it’s that time again! Time to pick this debate back up and add my own 5 cents. I’m well aware this debate has been going around ever since people started collecting memorabilia. Besides the old question why do we collect memorabilia, there’s also the question of unboxing action figures and memorabilia. Some people are for it, some people strongly against and it has caused quite a few fights among the internet folks. Continue Reading
Mass Effect is a popular sci-fi action RPG game developed by BioWare first released in 2007 for Xbox 360. The first three games set in distant future revolve around the main character, Commander Shepard (player can choose female or male). Mass Effect 3 ended Shepard’s trilogy but there’s a new Mass Effect in works with new characters.
I’ve put together a list of the most popular Mass Effect action figures, based on user reviews. Get your geek on! Continue Reading
Have you designed a great fan art of your favorite video game and think it would look great on something like a t-shirt, hoodie, mug or perhaps a tote bag? Thanks to the internet now you don’t have to search for a printing service in your city. Instead, you can create your own t-shirt online very easily from the comfort of your own home (and maybe earn a few dollars)!
I’ve picked a selection of several print on demand (POD) services which I have used in the past. I’ve listed pros and cons of each service from my perspective. The list is in no particular order. Continue Reading
If you’ve been to my blog before or know me in real life, you know that I’m not Irish. And you’re probably asking who the heck is Jacksepticeye. Since St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, I have decided to write about my favorite Irishman, the loud and boisterous Jacksepticeye, one of my favorite Youtubers. Continue Reading
As you may or may not know, I like Assassin’s Creed *and* I have the best friends ever. My friend E. gifted me the Assassin’s Creed: The Complete Visual History book for Christmas 2015 and I have to tell you, it’s completely stunning. I have never owned a concept art book of anything and I always assumed such things were only filled with pictures.
Oh, how wrong I was.
If you want to see what’s inside, come with me… Continue Reading
The Legend of Zelda is probably one of the most famous video game series of all time. It has been first released by Nintendo in 1986 and since then the series expanded into 18 more games and spin offs, including a TV show and manga adaptations. This fantasy action-adventure game centers around the character of Link, whose aim is to save Princess Zelda and the land of Hyrule against Ganondorf/Ganon and other monsters.
In this article I picked 12 Legend of Zelda t-shirts and hoodies that I personally liked (it was really tough to just choose 6 of each though!). Most of these on the list are fanmade but I have put one or two official apparel in there as well. Continue Reading
The internet hosts literally thousands upon thousands of web stores. Usually it’s not extremely difficult to find what you are looking for and the same applies also to video gaming merchandise. There are many shops that offer such products; large portals which sell everything and also niche specific e-stores.
At this day and age the internet also gives the opportunity to be creative for individuals, so aside from official merchandise, there are people who design t-shirts, handmade jewelry, costumes, etc.
In this post I’ll show you four of my favorite stores that I like to visit for both official and unofficial gaming merchandise. Even when I’m limited by my bank account, I always like to visit to see what’s new and just browse and bookmark products that I’m interested in. Continue Reading
My good friend R., who is a long term Loot Crate subscriber, offered me to test one out for free. So I did and ordered the Loot Crate for February 2016. February’s theme was aptly named ‘dead’ and I will tell you why in a moment (I feel like the image above is descriptive enough though).
For those of you who are not familiar with Loot Crate, it’s basically a subscription service, where you can get geeky gaming gear and merchandise. You can pick among several of Loot Crates to subscribe to (for example the standard Loot Crate, Loot Crate Anime for anime merchandise, Loot Crate Pets with stuff for your dog, Loot Crate Gaming, etc.). Every month there’s a special theme but you don’t know what is in the box that will arrive to your doorstep until you open it. Continue Reading
